"We created a protest image in the form of a stop-motion video, made up of small drawings on paper that keep changing. With each change, you see how the object in the image continues to break down. At the end, every object is completely destroyed.

This symbolises what we believe the government is doing to people. By constantly spreading fake news, you start to believe things without thinking about them. This gives you a false picture of reality. In this way, the government and other authorities try to influence or even brainwash people.

We are tired of this, which is why we have created a critical image that expresses our frustration about it.

Our source of inspiration was William Kentridge. He is best known for his charcoal animations and the way he visualises social dilemmas in black-and-white images. We were inspired by his animations and how he expresses his social commentary in a visual way."
